Save the Slide
Over 30 years ago, the water slide was installed at Frontier Ranch and continues to be one of the most attractive activities for ALL kids, no matter their age, size or ability! This water slide is an iconic piece of Frontier Ranch, and we need your help!
Every 7-10 years, the water slide at Frontier Ranch requires significant maintenance that includes repairs to cracks, painting the exterior, and gel coating the slide surfaces' interior. Due to the effects of Covid – 19 and the lost revenue over the last year, we do not have the funds to complete this work. Typically, a project like this would be part of our Major Maintenance plan, but we have had to cut almost every dime out of this year's budget.
Although the slide at Frontier Ranch is still operating, we are unsure if it will make it through this upcoming summer because the last slide restoration was completed in 2011. We desire to raise funds needed to make the necessary repairs before starting this summer, ensuring the slide's use and allowing our program teams and leaders to continue leveraging this activity, allowing kids to bump into Jesus and grow in their faith!
